The Destination of my Wandering

It is a mission impossible, it seems, to track back to my motive of establishing my own blog. In fact, when the concept of blog newly came to China, and became popular, I had an instinctive hostile to it.

It is because, perhaps, that many of my best friends had established theirs; or that I wanted to find a place to collect my experience and my life, my thought and my intelligence, my happiness and irritation, at a certain place, so as to share with those I know or do not know; or that I wish I could possess the ultimate power to determine the fate of all posts in a domain of mine, it suddenly struck me that I might need to have my own blog.

This idea came into being by last June, and I had my first blog by the end of the month. It was Live Space, the most popular and powerful blog service provider(at least I used to think so). I was too naive and foolhardy to realize the toughness to maintain and update a blog, and gave myself two orders: No.1: Publish one article per day, no more, no less. No.2: No Chinese is permitted in any of my blogs.

The plan turned out to be not only a failure, but somewhat a catastrophe. Firstly, it's obviously impossible for a scholar like me to have time to write one article per day, say nothing of in English. Secondly, it shall be acknowledged that Live Space has many overwhelming advantages, but the worst flaw for me is that: It's too slow for the Intranet of my dormitory. Thirdly, it's unpractical to achieve the opportunity of logon the Internet every day.

Hence, to fuifill the task became a new burden. Though some perfect articles were written, the majority of the blogs are simply a title (indicating the thing I wanted to write) and to be written in the post. What's more, I refuse to stay at my villa for two successive nights, for that would leave one day without to be written. It's quite ridiculous to write it down here, but that was me.

After the St. Valentine of this year, because a series of reasons, I found I couldn't fulfill the target any more, thus stopped writting anything there.

By the beginning of April, I tried to use Sina Blog, for most of my friends, including my best male friend and my best female friend, were using it. But it was too slow and too unstable.

Finally, I decided to give Blogger a try. That's what you see here.

I will gradually move all the valuable things to this place, so you can see all my masterpieces in my life at this place.

And that's all.
